Corncrake Cottage is so recently completed that it doesn’t yet appear on any mapping software.
In the Google Satellite View Map of Howmore below you can see Howmore Church in the centre of the picture. Also the Howmore River estuary and beach to the left. Corncrake Cottage is located approximately 200 yards east of the Church on the north side of the road.
There are two very good Co-operative stores within about 20 minutes of the house to the south at Daliburgh and to the north at Creagorry with weekday opening from around 8am to 8pm. Both of these shops are open on Sundays (from around 11am until 5pm) for food and newspapers. (Note that newspapers don't arrive in the shops till late morning weekdays and after 2pm on Sundays.)
